Here is a fun exercise to do that helps us to understand what is most important to each one of us.
Also it will help to set priorities for goals.

There are no right or wrong answers. Get both your heart and your mind involved.
Listed below are 30 values. Focus on the 8-10 most important to you, then narrow it down to the five most important. After you get the five, rank them one to five, one being the top value.

Achievement (accomplishment)
Ambitious (hard working, aspiring)
Adventure (new and challenging experiences)
Capable ( competent, effective)
Competitive ( winning, taking risks)
Courageous (standing up for your beliefs)
Creative (imaginative, clever)
Economic
Security (freedom from worry about money)
Fame (being famous, well known)
Family
Happiness (sharing your life together, enjoying)
Freedom (independence, self-reliant)
Friendship (close companionship)
Health (physical and mental well-being)
Helpful (working for the welfare of others)
Inner
Harmony (being at peace with oneself)
Integrity (honesty, sincerity)
Intellectual (intelligent and reflective)
Involvement (working with others, belonging)
Love (affectionate, tender, caring)
Loyal (faithful to friends or a group)
Order (stability, conformity)
Personal
Development (use of potential)
Pleasure (fun, laughs)
Power (control, authority, influence over others)
Religion (strong religious beliefs, closeness to God)
Responsible (dependable, reliable)
Self-Respect (pride, sense of personal identity)
Social
Recognition (respect and admiration from others)
Wealth (prosperity, making money)
Wisdom (a mature understanding of life)

When finished, ask yourself these four questions:
1- Am I surprised by my number 1 value?
2- Are there any surprises in my top 5?
3- What does this exercise tell me about myself?
4- How will these values affect the goals I set?

It is recommended to do these exercises once a year. As
goals are achieved, values do change.
