Finding Yourself

It is time to make peace with yourself (if you haven't already.)
Learning to know what you feel, why you feel as you do, and learning how to express your feelings in appropriate ways, can free you to feel better about your life.
Keeping a journal is a good way to learn more about yourself. Hopefully when we reach this stage in life, we are more aware of who we are, and we feel more comfortable with ourselves.
Finding ways to take care of yourself can help foster the resiliency needed to make healthier changes in your life and cope with challenges.
Women have practiced calming rituals for years. Some of these include meditation, yoga, drumming, dance, and tai chi. They offer us wonderful ways to release emotion, connect to our minds, bodies, and spirituality, and reach a state of relaxation.
We can take active steps to embrace good health habits, build ourselves a supportive network of like-minded people and learn better ways to cope with stress.
Try to make it a habit of listening to your thoughts on a daily basis. As Dr. Deepak Chopra once said, "The cells in our bodies are eavesdropping on our thoughts."
And remember, what you focus on expands into your life.
changes,
feelings,
