Weight Loss Made Easy
Monday, February 16, 2009 at 5:56PM I had the priviledge of being able to do an interview today with Dr. Warren Willey. He is a board certified Osteopathic Physician, the medical director of Physicians Immediate Care, a full service medical clinic for preventative medical intervention, by helping people to obtain optimal health and fitness. He has a passion for helping people become educated about how to eat. "Food is the best drug out there," says Dr. Willey.
He is able to utilize real foods that his patients enjoy, they are used to eating and also that fit into their budgets. How practical and how valuable, especially during these economic times we are in!
Some foods are better choices than others, no doubt. Dr Willey has been able to customize each person's program to fit into the lifestyle of his patient, instead of having the patient fit into his "ideal" scenario.
He actually teaches the patients and their families how to eat and the most appropriate times to eat certain foods to get to their "normal weight", become healthier and also to implement exercise.
Dr Willey says, "Health is a process." He has seen tremendous results over the years with countless patients becoming healthier in many ways by knowing when to eat fats, proteins, and carbohydrates and what portions throughout the day.
Three important things women can do to affect the qualilty of their lives:
1 - Learn how to eat,
2 - Learn to say no to others (so you can take care of yourself)
3 - Make time for yourself
His book is, What Does Your Doctor Look Like Naked? I hope you will listen to the interview and learn something new as I did today.
